PHIL SIMMS MUSEUM

Springfield, Kentucky is the birthplace of football legend Phil Simms. The new exhibit honors his life and career as a professional football player and CBS sports commentator. Simms played for the NFL for 15 years, leading the NY Giants to a Super Bowl victory in 1987.

PHIL SIMMS

Simms still holds the record as the Giant’s All-Time Passing Yards Leader. Simms was born in Springfield, Kentucky and attended St. Dominic Elementary School. He then moved with his family to Louisville where he grew up. He attended Southern High School and played college football at Morehead State University before being drafted into the NFL in 1979 by the NY Giants.
